The Philippine Statistics Office – Romblon Provincial Office in coordination with Local Government Unit (LGU) of San Agustin, Romblon conducted the Municipal Level Training for the 2024 Census of Population (POPCEN) and Community-Based Monitoring System: Household Data Collection and Geotagging.

Vice Mayor Norman M. Fatalla, the Acting Mayor gave his opening remarks and message to the 17 enumerators (EN) and three Team Supervisors (TS) assigned to this Municipality during the event in behalf of Hon. Mayor Esteban Santiago F. Madrona, Jr. who is on the official travel. The resource speakers from PSA to discuss various topics were Engr. Mariel Fallarcuna, Mr. Joshua F. Falcunit and Ms. Karen Mabisio.
