Municipal Mayor Esteban โDenonโ SF Madrona, Jr. along with Vice Mayor Norman M. Fatalla have given inspirational messages for the newly elected officials on how to improve their leadership skills, future projects/programs for the betterment of the barangays and the entire town. Additionally, SB Secretary Carlos P. Catajay, SB Gil Madrilejos, SB Dr. Zaldy Marin, SB Roland Abero, SB Victor Romero, SB Josefino Solidum, Jr. SB Edgar Mallorca have also graced the SKMT 2023 with their presence.
The newly elected SK officials have learned about Planning and Budgeting, Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards, Decentralization and Local Governance, SK History and Salient Features and Meetings and Resolutions to ensure that SK officials are well-versed in the legal framework governing their roles and responsibilities. Understanding the SK Reform Act and other relevant laws ensures that the SK operates within the legal boundaries set by the government, fostering good governance. The SK Officials enjoyed the training along with educational and interactive conversations and creative mind-mapping activities.
