Tablas Island District Hospital in collaboration with the Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society Inc. Southern Tagalog Chapter, conducts the celebration of the 20th National Buntis Day to support the pregnant moms in their fulfilling journey.

Municipal Mayor Esteban “Denon” SF Madrona, Jr. shared an inspirational message focusing on the importance of general nutrition for motherhood starting from pre-natal care up to post-natal care. Additionally, Mayor Denon encourages all the fathers’ participation in these types of activities to also be aware of the entire journey as pregnancy is a shared responsibility. MHO Dr. Deogracias S. Muleta also shared his insights on the pivotal role of these lectures especially to new mothers. Pregnancy is a delicate process and it is vital to ensure both the safety of the mother and the baby. There will be a lot of hormonal changes and it is truly a huge sacrifice that we should always keep in mind.
