Municipal Mayor Esteban SF Madrona, Jr. and MLGOO John Francis F. Fopalan have convened with the Barangay Captains and SK Chairpersons of San Agustin, Romblon to further discuss the simultaneous nationwide conduct of barangay road clearing operations on May 10, 2024 (onwards) and the submission of the BaRCO-related reports (through a google monitoring spreadsheet link). In line with the Memorandum Circular No. 2024-053, all the barangay captains are expected to also conduct community consultation to inform their constituents regarding the road clearing operations in public roads, streets, and alleys within the barangay jurisdiction. We need to have a more organized community to avoid accidents/hazards and improve the flow of transportation as well. Municipal Administrator Johnny S. Jesalva also showed his support towards the stated meeting.
